Honor Magic8 Series Launches in China: Smarter Ai, Stunning Cameras, and Record-Breaking Performance

HONOR has launched its new Magic8 Series in China, calling it the brand’s first “Self-Evolving AI Smartphone.” The lineup is led by the HONOR Magic8 Pro, which brings smarter AI tools, a major camera upgrade, and record-breaking performance.

The new phones are powered by the latest version of YOYO Agent, an AI assistant that can handle everyday tasks on its own. It can complete more than 3,000 types of actions, from deleting bad photos to writing and sending reports. HONOR says the goal is to save users from boring, repetitive tasks so they can focus on what really matters.

Honor Magic8 Series Brings Smarter help with the YOYO Agent

The Honor Magic8 Series adds a new AI Button that gives instant access to YOYO. A long press starts a video call where the assistant can identify objects or scenes through the camera. A double-click opens the camera for quick shots. Users can also set the button to open apps or shortcuts they use most often.

A new feature called YOYO Memories can safely organize personal data, like photos, messages, and documents, using AI to understand their meaning. Everything is processed privately on the device, keeping information secure.

Big Leap in Camera Technology

HONOR has made big improvements to smartphone photography with its AiMAGE Camera System. The Honor Magic8 Pro features a 200MP Ultra Night Telephoto Camera with a large 1/1.4-inch sensor and a bright f/2.6 aperture. This helps capture clear, colorful photos even at night or from far away.

The camera uses HONOR’s new AI anti-shake system, making it easier to take sharp photos without a tripod. The brand says the system is up to seven times more stable than before.

The new Magic Color Engine can process more than 16.7 million colors using deep learning. It keeps tones accurate and allows users to create or copy color styles from reference photos for a more cinematic look.

The 7,200mAh silicon-carbon battery offers long life and charges quickly with 120W wired or 80W wireless HONOR SuperCharge. Three E2 power chips manage temperature, voltage, and battery health automatically with help from AI.
