The next brand taking a ride in the “Air” is Huawei, with its own Huawei Mate 70 Air. The device is set to go official in the next month, and ahead of the launch, it was spotted in an online listing. Today, a new leaked post advertises the design of the phone.
Huawei Mate 70 Air Appears in Leaked Poster
The Huawei Mate 70 Air was photographed in a warped fashion. The smartphone isn’t curved like the poster suggests, but the suggested thinness here is close to accurate. According to the leaks, the new variant will walk in the 6mm thickness territory. That’s more than Apple’s iPhone Air with its 5.5mm, but the Huawei phone has a physical SIM slot and probably has a beefier battery than the iPhone Air’s tiny cell.
Large Display, Capable Cameras, and 16GB of RAM
The Huawei Mate 70 Air won’t be a small device with a huge 6.9-inch screen boasting China’s favorite 1.5K resolution. The phone will have 16 GB of RAM and will have a main camera with a 1/1.3″ type sensor. Like we said above, the phone has a physical SIM, which might be an advantage for some users. For comparison, Apple’s iPhone Air is an eSIM-only smartphone. The device will run HarmonyOS 5.1 when it launches. It will be available in Black, White, and Gold.
As usual in Huawei flagships, the exact chipset of the Huawei Mate 70 Air will be mysterious. Huawei don’t talk much about these in their recent releases, and the Air probably won’t be an exception. We expect more details to appear in the coming weeks.
