Xiaomi introduced HyperOS 3.0 in China some months ago, bringing new AI features, new visuals, smooth animations, and the Hyper Island, which stands as Xiaomi’s view on Apple’s Dynamic Island – but with extra versatility. The company started recruiting beta testers for the global release last month. Now, it has officially announced the beginning of its global rollout. Select users with eligible smartphones will start getting the update.
HyperOS 3.0 Starts Its Global Rollout With the Xiaomi 15T Series
According to the official Xiaomi HyperOS account, the HyperOS 3 global rollout has begun with the Xiaomi 15T series. The company states that the update will reach these units in a phased manner. We all know how this goes on – if no critical bug appears in the meantime, Xiaomi wil proceed with a wider rollout.
It’s natural to see the Xiaomi 15T and 15T Pro users, who enrolled in the beta program, getting this update first. They’ve been trying the early releases, and now should get the stable release ahead of the others. Interestingly, in China, the Xiaomi 15 series and Redmi K80 lineup were the first to receive the stable update. Obviously, the flagships are also among the first getting this update.
The HyperOS 3 update will bring Android 16 to eligible smartphones along with several improvements and enhancements in the experience. It gets a subtle redesign in the user interface, new apps, and, as we’ve said above, a couple of new AI-powered features. You can see the list of eligible devices and the respective time they’re set to receive this update. Be aware of the fact that this list is easily due to changes if something goes against the initial plan.
