Samsung is adding smart tools to the camera app in its One UI 8.5 build. A new leak shows that users will soon be able to save their own pro photo setups. These setups can hold data like ISO, white tone, and shutter time.

The new “save preset” tool will let users store full pro mode plans for fast reuse. It’s handy for shots like the moon or dawn scenes where each tweak counts. It helps skip setup time while keeping shots clean and true to tone.
Each lens will get its own setup file. Users can make one plan for the main wide lens, a new one for ultra-wide, and a third for the zoom lens. When they swap lenses, the saved setup loads at once. This makes it easy to move from close-up to far shots with no guesswork.
Quick share link-up
The leak also notes that users can share their saved setups by Quick Share. It sends the file right to a friend’s phone with one tap. This is nice for trips or family shots, where all can snap with the same tone and feel.
IT Home shared the full set of tweaks that can be saved. They include focus mode and range, ISO, color tone, and mix tools like contrast, shade, and light points. Users can also store white tone and shutter time for full light control.
This move makes the One UI 8.5 cam more user-led. It blends Pro Tools with easy reuse. New users can copy good setups from friends, while pros can keep their own light plans ready for work.
With One UI 8.5 still in test code, Samsung has not said when the update will roll out. But this leak hints that the firm wants to push its cam app to a new stage — one built on share, speed, and skill.
