The photovoltaic equipment business achieved operating revenue of 0.228 billion RMB, a year-on-year increase of 69.81%.

The growth of its new energy sector also prompted Han’s Laser to make a series of arrangements around the new energy sector, which include:

Establishing an overseas green energy company

On March 29th, Han’s Laser announced that in order to accelerate the development of its overseas business, it plans to invest in setting up a wholly-owned subsidiary in the United States with a total investment of no more than 60 million USD, which will be gradually invested according to business progress. The planned investment company is named “Green Energy Industry Development Co., Ltd.” Its business scope includes research and development, production, sales of laser processing and supporting equipment, related technical and management consulting services, etc. The company name and business scope are temporary and subject to verification and confirmation by relevant departments.

Signing a photovoltaic equipment purchase contract

On February 17th, Han’s Laser signed a photovoltaic equipment purchase contract and attended a photovoltaic industry research institute awarding ceremony with Sichuan Taichuan New Energy Co., Ltd. in a grand ceremony held in Xingwen, Yibin, Sichuan. This signing ceremony marked the official entry into the “practical operation” stage of the photovoltaic industry strategic cooperation, which will effectively promote the comprehensive and in-depth development of the two parties in various fields such as advanced photovoltaic technology, photovoltaic production and research construction, and photovoltaic industry cultivation.

The photovoltaic equipment in the contract signed by Han’s Laser and Taichuan New Energy is provided by Han’s Laser’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Shenzhen Han’s PV Equipment Co., Ltd. The equipment mainly includes PECVD, low-pressure diffusion furnaces, thermal oxidation furnaces, etc., with a total order amount exceeding 300 million RMB. The main equipment provided by Han’s PV has been fully upgraded and started anew, with core technical indicators such as cell efficiency and uniformity reaching the industry-leading level. This also marks a new milestone for Han’s PV’s batch delivery capability.

Establishing a new energy intelligent equipment company domestically

On February 11th, Han’s Laser invested in and established a new intelligent equipment company in Guangzhou. The new company is named “Han’s Mopai (Guangzhou) Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd.”, with Gao Yunsong as its legal representative and a registered capital of 5 million RMB. Its business scope includes industrial robot manufacturing, new energy prime mover equipment, sales of production and testing equipment for new energy vehicles, etc. The company is indirectly jointly held by Han’s Laser and other parties.

In addition, on April 16th, the commissioning ceremony of Han’s Laser’s intelligent equipment group headquarters base in Central and Southwest China was successfully held. At the same time, the base launched its flagship product, the T36 series heavy-duty pipe-cutting machine, which is currently the only domestically developed high-precision heavy-duty laser pipe-cutting machine.
