The iQOO 15 was unveiled yesterday in China and will make its way to global markets in November. The device is interesting with great specifications and features, but it still isn’t the best this lineup will offer. In fact, iQOO is working on another model that could come as iQOO 15 Ultra. It will have more power for games and will enhance the user’s productivity.
iQOO 15 Ultra To Be a “Gaming Productivity Tool” According to iQOO
The name isn’t confirmed yet, but knowing the brand’s story, there is a high chance it will be called iQOO 15 Ultra. The existence of this device in development has been confirmed by Luo Feng, iQOO VP of Products.
Regardless of the name, whether it’s Pro or Ultra, the new variant wil be higher-end than the iQOO 15. It will come as a “gaming productivity tool”. Thus, it will be the most powerful iQOO smartphone to date. We have to say that this is rather an unusual approach. iQOO has always been a brand focused in gaming and brute power with a focus in raw hardware. Now, however, the brand puts “productivity” as one of its targets. A gaming productivity smartphone seems to be confusing, but we believe it should just be powerful in these two aspects.
A Powerful Hardware in iQOO’s Next Beast
The device is expected to include dedicated gaming triggers as well as an active cooling system. Other features will include IP68 dust and water resistance. The phone will bring a QHD+ screen, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, a periscope telephoto camera, and wireless charging support. All those features are also present in the iQOO 15, so we expect the iQOO 15 Ultra to be more impressive in other areas. Perhaps there will be some minor tweaks to make it more impressive. The device will also run OriginOS 6.

It’s unclear when the iQOO 15 Ultra will arrive, but it may still take some months. It won’t happen before the global launch of the iQOO 15 in the next month. In fact, we don’t even expect it for this year. The early release of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC will probably make some brands launch new Ultra flagships in Q1 2026.
