XIAOMI 15 PRO IS EXPECTED TO FEATURE A 6,000 MAH BATTERY
The Xiaomi 15 Pro is said to be lighter than its predecessor, the Xiaomi 14 Pro. This is surprising because it will have a much larger battery. The tipster said the new phone will weigh only 220 grams and be 8.5mm thick. Earlier reports said it would have a 6,000 mAh battery.
To put things in perspective, the Xiaomi 14 Pro is also 8.5mm thick but weighs more. It’s either 223 or 230 grams, depending on the model. As for its battery, it is at 4,880 mAh and the phone can charge at 90W.
So, if the rumors are true, the Xiaomi 15 Pro will be thinner, lighter, and have a much bigger battery. This is impressive and could be possible because of the new battery technology called silicon-carbon batteries.
AS FOR WHEN THE PHONE WILL LAUNCH, OCTOBER SEEMS VERY LIKELY
The Xiaomi 15 Pro is coming soon, and the expected launch timeline is on the coming October. This is when Qualcomm will unveil the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip, and Xiaomi is already confirmed to be among the first to offer smartphones with the new chipset.
Xiaomi follows a similar release pattern. Last year, the Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro launched in October. The Xiaomi 15 Ultra will likely arrive later, like the Xiaomi 14 Ultra did.
