Vivo X200 Compact Display Spotted in New Render

vivo X200 Compact Display Spotted in New Render

Vivo’s X200 series is set to make its debut in early October, and fans can look forward to three different models: the standard X200, the X200 Pro, and the X200 Pro+. The base X200 is rumored to sport a 6.3-inch display, and well-known leaker Digital Chat Station has recently revealed a render that gives us a sneak peek at its screen design.

The X200 will come equipped with a flat 6.3-inch LTPO OLED display. It has FHD+ resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Its design is sleek, with symmetrical bezels on all sides, and a punch-hole cutout for the front-facing camera. The display will also include an optical fingerprint scanner for added security.

Under the hood, the entire X200 series will boast the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset, promising strong performance across the board. As for the camera setup, the X200 is rumored to feature a triple-camera array. It features a custom Sony sensor with a 50MP main camera. Complementing this are a 50MP periscope lens with 3x optical zoom and a 50MP ultrawide lens. We don’t know yet, but we wouldn’t discard the release of a variant with Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 in the next year.

The upcoming device will pack a larger battery compared to its predecessor. The rumors are suggesting a capacity in the 5,500 to 5,600 mAh range. However, this increase in battery size will come with a trade-off. The charging speed will fall back to 90W, a step down from the 120W charging found on the X100. Despite this, 90W charging is still fast enough for most users. Perhaps, we will see 120W charging on the higher models.

The Vivo X200 series will debut the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 in October. The new CPU will keep its architecture with only performance cores. It will also be our opportunity to check the performance of ARM’s latest Cortex-925 cores as Qualcomm will switch over to its own core design with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4.

With just a few weeks ahead of the Vivo X200 series release, we expect the leaks to intensify. So stay tuned.
