Honor 400 Leaks On Geekbench With Snapdragon 7 Gen 3

Honor’s 400 series launch is imminent. Following the previous appearance of Honor 400 Pro on Geekbench, now even the vanilla Honor 400 has shown up on the platform. While cataloging the specs, many details came out.

Honor 400 Rumored to Launch with Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 and Android 15

As reported by Xpertpick, the phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor. This comes as no huge surprise, but it is worth noting anyway. The phone will also support 12 GB of RAM and feature Android 15. These specs place it squarely in the mid-range segment.

Surprisingly enough, the same chipset has been implemented in the Honor 300. That phone, however, never left China. The new Honor 400 also seems to be following the same path, repurposing tried and tested older-generation hardware.

The Honor 400 Pro will be running the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip. That was Qualcomm’s flagship processor last year. It also powered the Honor 300 Pro. This is proof that Honor is refreshing its phones with small but good upgrades.

The Honor 400 also has a new model number: DNY-NX9. That certainly confirms it’s a new phone and not a rebrand. Leaks suggest that it will have a 6.55-inch AMOLED display. The display is also going to be extremely bright. A feature to look out for is the 200 MP primary camera, which can possibly give sharp and clear images. The phone will also have a big 5,300 mAh battery for good battery life.

Honor has already announced a phone from the series. The Honor 400 Lite has already been released in Europe. This means the global launch of the Honor 400 and 400 Pro cannot be far away. We are still waiting to hear from Honor on the launch date.

The new Honor 400 series seems to be a serious contender in the mid-range market. With bright displays, high-resolution cameras, and good chipsets, these phones may appeal to many. More details should be released shortly.
