Realme has released two new smartphones in the latest Realme 13 lineup. The company has unveiled the Realme 13 Pro and the Realme 13 Pro+, with a target market in the mid-range segment. The phones offer an all-rounder experience providing high performance, capable camera, and high-end display. Let’s check out each smartphone below covering all their aspects.
REALME 13 PRO SERIES DESIGN
Realme says that the design language of the Realme 13 Pro series is inspired by the work of French painter Claude Monet. The forested glass on the back of the smartphone has a brushstrokes effect which resembles the works of Monet.
The new smartphone opts for a circular camera module on the rear side. The camera module is carefully designed and adds to the aesthetics of the smartphone. On the front, minimal bezels on the display give the device a premium look. There are three color options including Monet Gold, Monet Purple, and Emerald Green.
REALME 13 PRO SPECIFICATIONS
Realme 13 Pro features a curved 6.7-inch AMOLED display. It has a resolution of FHD+ and supports a high refresh rate of 120Hz. The curved display gives the device a premium feel. Moreover, it is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.
Powering the smartphone is the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2. This is a capable mid-range processor coming with 8 cores and is based on a 4nm architecture. It provides high efficiency and performance.

Additionally, it is powered by the similar Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor. The biggest difference is in the camera department where the Realme 13 Pro+ features a superior camera setup. It has a 50MP Sony LYT-701 sensor providing crisp and high-res shots. Moreover, it gets an LYT-600 sensor as well providing a 3x telephoto lens with 50MP resolution. The third sensor is the 8MP ultra-wide. The primary and telephoto lenses are OIS-enabled meaning the shots will be stable. The selfie camera remains the same providing 32MP resolution.

The phone has a 5200mAh battery but it supports a faster charging speed of 80W. Finally, the phone comes out of the box with RealmeUI based on Android 14 OS.
REALME’S HYPERIMAGE+ AI FEATURE
The mid-range segment in the smartphone is highly competitive. Hence, companies need to give their phones some highlights to make them stand out. The feature that makes the Realme 13 Pro series stand out is the Realme’s Hyperimage+ AI system. Realme has made this system to provide an enhanced camera experience. It bundles software and hardware features to give users a better result.
Firstly, it uses the hardware which includes the high-end camera sensors like the Sony LYT-701 and LYT-600 sensors. Secondly, it used the AI imaging algorithms which help detect the scene and give perfect shots accordingly. Lastly, there are cloud-based AI image editing features as well. The Realme 13 Pro comes in three variants: 8/128GB, 8/256GB, and 12/512GB. They are priced at INR 26,999 ($320), INR 28,999 ($346), and INR 31,999 ($382) respectively.
Meanwhile, the Realme 13 Pro+ with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage starts at INR 32,999 ($394). The 12/256GB variant comes at INR 34,999 ($418) and 12/512GB at INR 36,999 ($441). The phone is available for pre-order in India, and sales start on August 6.
CONCLUSION
That said, the Realme 13 Pro series is a perfect blend of hardware and software providing a premium smartphone experience for a decent price. Realme’s Hyperimage+ AI system and aesthetic design language are the biggest highlights of the smartphone. Though there are other phones in the segment providing better performance, like the POCO F6 with a superior Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, it compromises on the camera department. Hence, the Realme 13 Pro series brings a good balance with better camera setup and decent performance.
