Samsung Galaxy A26 Revealed: New Design, Bigger Screen!

Samsung Galaxy A26 Revealed

Samsung is preparing to release the Galaxy A26, the follow-up to the Galaxy A25 from last year. While there’s no official announcement yet, leaked images (via AndroidHeadlines) have shown us what the phone will look like. The Galaxy A26 will measure 164 x 77.5 x 7.7 mm, making it taller, wider, and thinner than the A25. This suggests the new phone will have a larger screen, likely around 6.64 inches, compared to the A25’s 6.5-inch display.

The design includes flat edges and a waterdrop-style notch for the front camera. The rear camera module has also been redesigned, setting it apart from the A25. The phone will probably keep its plastic frame and back, making it lightweight. It is expected to run on the Exynos 1280 processor, the same as the A25, and come with 6GB of RAM. The Galaxy A26 will run Android 15 with Samsung’s One UI on top. The official launch is expected soon.

A recent benchmark run reveals that the Galaxy A26 will come with an Exynos 1280 SoC. It’s the same CPU as the A25. It will come with 6GB of RAM in one version, though other configurations are likely to be available, just like the A25. The A26 is expected to launch with Android 15 out of the box and will likely be priced similarly to its predecessor. The leaked renders show that the Galaxy A26 will feature a flat display with a classic waterdrop notch and a noticeably thick bottom bezel. The rear camera setup is now housed in a single island, replacing the individual camera circles seen in earlier models.
