According to fresh new details, the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE will launch very soon. The latest round of rumors have been pointing to a launch either in late September or early October. Ahead of that release, the US version of the smartphone received certification from the FCC.
Samsung Galaxy S24 FE Passes By FCC Certification
The process has confirmed that the device has dual-band Wi-Fi with Wi-Fi 6E support, NFC, Bluetooth, 5G Support, and reverse wireless charging up to 9W. The Samsung Galaxy S24 measures 162 x 77.3 mm (height and width) and, unfortunately, the overall thickness is a mystery.
The FCC Listing brings incremental details about the smartphone and does not dive deeper into the specifications. However, it’s a good hint about this device’s imminent release. According to a previous Geekbench run, the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE will be powered by the Exynos 2400 SoC, in an underclocked version for unknown reasons. This is a strange choice for Samsung. While the Exynos 2400 does a good job against the competition, it is still not the most favored chipset in the market. So, it’s strange to see Samsung making it less interesting in an underclocked version. Perhaps, it wants to make the Galaxy S24 FE more power-efficient than the regular variants. Or, in the worst case, it is purportedly making the device less powerful than its siblings.
Among the expected specifications, the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE is also expected to include an AMOLED screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate and FHD+ resolution. Furthermore, it will bring triple cameras with at least one telephoto sensor. We expect an IP rating and the latest stable One UI.
There is no official word from Samsung regarding the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE. Although the device is expected in late September or early October, this could change in the coming weeks. We expect more details to appear in the coming days.
