OnePlus is reportedly developing two new smartphones in the Ace 5 series: the OnePlus Ace 5 and OnePlus Ace 5 Pro. The Ace 5 is rumored to be equipped with the current flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, while the Pro model is anticipated to feature the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset.

Qualcomm’s annual Snapdragon Summit, set to kick off on October 24th, will unveil the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. Considering the Ace 5 Pro’s reliance on this new chipset, an October launch for the series seems unlikely. A release in November or December appears more feasible.
In terms of specifications, the standard Ace 5 model is rumored to sport a 6.78-inch curved-edge OLED display. It will also feature a micro-curvature design.
